Whirlpool washer control knob
After years of glueing and using pliers to start the washer cycle, this improved control knob solved all the problems. It has a die cast threaded insert that eliminates the plastic threads that easily break in the OEM knob.

Surprised
Was looking for a part to my washer that broke. Had to use needle nose pliers to operate found this item at a great price was hesitant because of the cost. It arrived in just a few days (approx 3) my husband put it on the washer it works perfectly. The surprise is found what I was looking for, cost was very low, received it within a few days and it works.

Better quality than original
I was told when chatting with an Appliance Zone person that the timer knob for my Whirlpool Estate TAWS700D washer has no cheap replacement, so I would have to buy the manufacturer's original part, which costs about $20. I saw this one, and the specs show it's about the same size as my broken one. Since it was only $2, I bought it hoping it might work. I'm happy to say that it works great, and with the cast iron construction it's higher quality than the cheap plastic original part.
