User should also should check that water is being correctly diverted to the ice maker from the inlet valve. Best part for the job!
I diagnosed that my ice maker unit was working and replacing the part was very easy, also found that Appliance Zone had it in stock and shipped really fast. The part arrive as expected and day later was installed without any problems. Will buy again for any replacement parts any time.
