WDF520PADM7 element replacement
The dishes in my Whirlpool WDF520PADM7 were not coming clean, and nasty buildup of fat was happening throughout my dishwasher. The old heating element was shot. Although the dishwashers listed for this heating element replacement part did not mention my specific dishwasher, this part was available immediately (the genuine OEM part was at least 2 months to deliver). I had to do some very minor widening of the holes at the base of the dishwasher tub with a Dremel tool to accommodate the somewhat wider threads of the element vs. my OEM part, but otherwise this part fit in place perfectly. This part comes with plastic nuts that fit the threads (not all replacement elements do!), and since we installed it, the dishes are cleaner, the fat buildup at the filter has been reduced, and dishes are hotter and more sanitized than with our broken element - hot and steamy, just like it used to be. For half the price of the OEM part and delivery within a week, it was a great purchase during the great supply chain crisis of 2021-2022.
