The dryer in my GE washer/dryer combo (I don't know the model number) was making a racket. At first, I thought it was the belt slipping (minor squeaking) then in a few months, it got ferociously loud. Turns out it was the rear bearing, which had worn down almost unbelievably. This kit fixed the problem, was fairly straightforward to install (see the YouTube tutorial; disassembling the unit to get the dryer drum out was the tedious part), and definitely fixed the problem. I replaced the belt, too, which made the first load of newly dried laundry smell like rubber.
Was able to use YouTube to get video on how to repair. Arrived quickly. Got it all put together but the belt was too big. Now have to take it apart. Not bad for a 60 year old female. Lol
