Look for an aluminum tag--or a silver or white adhesive label. The model number may be printed or stamped onto the tag and it may be written in two different type sizes or styles.
Top Load
With lid open, mounted to cabinet near tub opening.
On left or right side of washer near the bottom of the cabinet.
On the back of the washer near the top.
On the front kick plate at the lower front of the washer.
Front Load
With door open, mounted to inside of cabinet on the left or right side.
With door open, mounted to the rear or side of the door.
On back of washer near the top.
Combo
Inside the dryer door, on the door frame.
On the top of the dryer.
On the side of the washer, near the bottom, front.
Under the washer lid.
